My first entry for Sketchwars
Theres a sketch contest on Facebook called "Sketchwars." I spent all Saturday trying to get this sketch correct. I thought this sketch would go quicker, but I'm a little rusty at drawing cars and was little confused with this car's funky proportions. The end result I thought turned out pretty good! I really need to sketch more cars...
I'm starting a rat rod sketch...
I'm starting a rat-rod sketch. It'll take a few more overlays to get this right. This thing will incorporate a honking battery pack/heatsink in place of the engine. The drivetrain will consist of electric motors housed in each wheel and there will be gullwing doors for easier access.

Here are the last sketches for the 31 Spoopy sketches campaign. In celebration, I finished things off with an exploding pumpkin. Theres also, "Spider-kid", Alice, Mad Hatter, a "Dia de Los Muertos" kid, an evil clown and a lonely Sugar Daddy.

Om under the dome
Last weekend was rather action packed. I biked down to the State Capitol for the "Om under the Dome" yoga event. It was pretty crazy seeing lots of hippies gathering under the State Capitol dome in a united "Om" chant. Definitely a unique experience!
Deep Eddy
Yesterday, I paid a visit to the famous Deep Eddy pool downtown. Its the oldest pool in Texas and its fed by a natural water well, so the water is very cold! It was also a good opportunity to do a sketch.
